2.3.11 – Setting the IP Subnet (Static IP Only)

In most cases, even if you have been instructed to alter your Static IP address, you

will not need to alter your subnet. However, in the event that you are instructed to

do so or are switching from DHCP to Static IP configuration, please follow the steps

below.

ncorrect modifications to the IP Subnet address

will render the DMM unable to connect and

download music, messaging, and configuration

updates. Please use with caution!

Step 1 From the Set Configuration menu press the NAVIGATION DOWN button

until the “Set IP Subnet” option is highlighted.

Step 2 Press the * button to enter the Set IP Subnet screen:

IP Subnet:

###.###.###.###

Hit * to set IP

Step 3 Use the NAVIGATION UP and DOWN to select new IP numbers, and the

NAVIGATION LEFT and RIGHT to move to the next number. Press the *

button to set the IP address. Once the IP address has been changed, a

Test Connection is recommended. Please refer to Section 2.4.2, Test Net

Connection for instructions.

2.3.12 – Setting the Default Gateway (Static IP Only)

If you are instructed by your Corporate Network Administrator or DMX MUSIC to

switch from DHCP to a Static IP address, or if you have been instructed to change

your existing Gateway address, follow the steps below.

Step 1 From the Set Configuration menu press the NAVIGATION DOWN button

until the “Set Default Gateway” option is highlighted.

Step 2 Press the * button to enter the Set Default Gateway screen:
